RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work rotating day shifts: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM and 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Schedule requires working 5 days one week and 4 days the next, totaling 72 hours in a two-week period
• One day off every other week
• Minimum 1 year operating room circulator experience required in intraoperative setting
• First-time travelers accepted
• Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Patient ratio: 1:4 with 5 operating rooms and average daily census of 18
• Work with Epic and Pyxis systems
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Specialties include retina surgery, total hip/knee replacements, hand surgery, breast oncology, breast reconstruction, ENT procedures, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, and podiatry
• No traditional call requirements, but may need to stay over based on room completion status
• Rare floating within facility and scope of practice
• No weekend requirements
• Maximum 7 days RTO with blackout during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Holiday work requirements based on number of major holidays during assignment period
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required
• Full compliance required to start on time
