NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Impactful Care Delivery: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and design customized, transformative treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each program participant.
• Innovative Therapy: Administer cutting-edge occupational therapy programs, continually adapting and updating approaches to maximize participant outcomes and caseload efficiency.
• Collaborative Leadership: Serve as a core member of our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, collaborating seamlessly with physicians, families, consultants, and community partners.
• Mentorship & Supervision: Direct and inspire assigned staff and Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs). You will play a key role in professional development, including onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
• Continuity of Care: Establish timely home exercise programs and conduct home evaluations to ensure a smooth transition and long-term success for participants.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain precise, timely documentation and weekly schedules in accordance with department standards, licensing requirements, and strict ethics of confidentiality.

What You Bring to the Team

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in human services. Preferred: One (1) year of specialized experience in neuro-rehabilitation.
• Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Active Occupational Therapist License (OT/L) in good standing in the state of Georgia. Active member in good standing with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
• Additional Requirements: Ability to travel as needed to support participant home evaluations.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Physical Strength: This position involves heavy work requiring the exertion of up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds constantly to safely move objects and support participants.
