EBSH Interim Assistant Administrator – Whittier, CA POSITION: Interim Assistant Administrator LOCATION: Whittier, CA TYPE: Full-Time
ANNUAL SALARY: $74,000
HOURS: 8‑hour shift, on‑callJOB SUMMARY
Assist the Administrator with overseeing daily activities in the home while providing high‑quality care to clients. Help establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures. Coordinate with management, organization officials, and staff members to ensure the health, safety, and overall well‑being of clients.JOB FUNCTIONS
Collaborate with the Administrator on developing daily operations of the house(s). Manage performance of direct reports, including coaching, counseling, discipline, and performance management. Recruit and make hiring decisions for vacancies. Help establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures in consultation with management and staff. Maintain client and facility files per California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 17. Maintain ongoing resident ID notes, review staff ID notes for each client daily, and prepare/submit quarterly progress reports in accordance with CCR Title 17 Chapter 3 Subchapter 4 §56026. Meet with identified agencies and service providers, including representatives from Regional Center, Community Care Licensing, and day programs. Determine staff requirements, interview, hire, and train new employees. Participate in Individual Program Plan, Transition, and Interdisciplinary (ID) team meetings and maintain open communication with families. Obtain medical and dental evaluations, emergency care, and follow physician orders for consumers. Manage all financial costs associated with the home(s), including program supplies, utilities, and labor. Recruit, train, and manage staff while preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties. Perform other related duties and assignments as required.REQUIREMENTS
Adult Residential Facility Administrator Certification (ARF) Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT) DSP I and DSP II certificates CPR/FA and CPI certification High‑school diploma or equivalentMINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High‑school diploma or GED, some college preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience supporting clients with developmental disabilities Level 4I or higher, providing specialized services to individuals with high levels of behavior challenges.FULL‑TIME BENEFITS
