Our client is currently seeking a RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER in TX Senior Manager, Research and Development (Bakery/Food) A leading Consumer Products manufacturer is seeking a Senior Manager of Research and Development in Texas. This role will lead a technical team focused on new product development and scale-up, cost optimization initiatives, and operational support. The position is also responsible for enhancing existing products and driving continuous improvement projects. Key Responsibilities Lead technical activities to advance multiple projects simultaneously through the Stage Gate commercialization process, balancing risk, operational constraints, and cost. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the commercialization process to increase success rates, reduce costs, improve scale-up efficiency, and accelerate speed to market. Communicate progress on all products in commercialization, using metrics, resource tracking, research findings, progress reports, and team meetings to monitor performance. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (QA, Plant Operations, Engineering, and Procurement) to resolve business challenges and support profitable growth. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related field with a strong Baking Science background. Minimum 10 years of experience in bakery/food product development and manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a leadership/management role. Proven experience leading new products through commercialization in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of recipe/formulation development and raw materials. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), SharePoint, and ERP systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Judge Group, INC.
