Due to rapid growth, Marathon is Hiring Immediately for Machine Opeators at a Steel Mill company located in Rossville, GA. Learn new skills, meet new people, and work with a great management team.

Job Details:

This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity!
1st Shift Monday to Thursday.
Pay: Starting at $17

Responsibilities:

Various assembly and production operations including but not limited to:
Flexibility: Will work in multiple departments to assist in meeting production goals (i.e. Assembly, Press Operations, Packaging, etc.)
Ensure manufactured parts meet quality requirements
Use of measuring tools, such as tape measurers, calipers, & micrometers
Heavy use of hands to apply weatherstripping, assemble components, toggle components together, applying end caps to wiring systems
Riveting, press operation, product assembly,
Inspect, count, label parts
Assist operators catch, inspect, count, and label parts
Use of hand tools such hand drills, screw guns, screw drivers, wrenches, etc.
Use of calipers, micrometers, tape measurers
Complete required paperwork and quality-reporting
Minor set-ups/change overs on some machinery/equipment

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to work in a safe manner
Demonstrates ability to follow specific instructions and directions
Demonstrate ability to use and operate hand tools (i.e., use of calipers, micrometers, and tape measures)
Punctual and reliable

On the job training
Paid Weekly; direct deposit/pay cards available
