Job Overview:

Donyati is seeking an experienced Narrative Reporting Lead Consultant to design, build, and deliver Oracle Narrative Reporting solutions for our clients. This role leads report and report package development from requirements through go-live, and serves as the functional bridge between Narrative Reporting and the broader EPM stack, most notably Planning and Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS). The ideal candidate combines strong Narrative Reporting build skills with a solid grasp of financial statements, so that report packages accurately support both statutory and management reporting needs.

Location & Logistics:

\n

\n
• This is a remote position based in the U.S., with travel to client sites as required to support workshops, testing, and go-live activities.
\n

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle Narrative Reporting solutions, including report packages, doclets, grids, and management reporting artifacts.
\n
• Gather and translate client requirements from finance and accounting stakeholders into report package structures, point-of-view (POV) mappings, and review/approval workflows.
\n
• Apply strong functional knowledge of financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow, to ensure report output supports both statutory and management reporting needs.
\n
• Partner with Planning and FCCS workstreams to ensure Narrative Reporting artifacts correctly reflect underlying data models, hierarchies, and consolidation logic.
\n
• Facilitate client workshops and requirements sessions, presenting design options and recommending leading practices.
\n
• Configure and troubleshoot Narrative Reporting components, including Doclets, Library artifacts, Report Package workflows, and Smart View integration.
\n
• Develop test scripts, design documents, and end-user training materials, and support user acceptance testing and go-live activities.
\n
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior consultants on Narrative Reporting builds and best practices.
\n
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, including scoping input and level-of-effort estimates for statements of work.
\n
• Travel to client sites as needed to support workshops, testing, and go-live milestones.
\n

Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Current Oracle Narrative Reporting certification (Oracle Cloud EPM certification track).
\n
• 5-7 years of relevant experience implementing Oracle EPM solutions, with hands-on experience building Narrative Reporting reports and report packages.
\n
• Strong functional understanding of, and hands-on experience with, Oracle EPM Planning and Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS).
\n
• Solid working knowledge of financial statement fundamentals for both statutory and management reporting purposes.
\n
• Experience with Smart View and integrating Narrative Reporting output with Planning and FCCS data sources.
\n
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead workshops and present to finance stakeholders.
\n
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
\n
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed to support project delivery.
\n

Preferred Skills:

\n

\n
• Background in public accounting, corporate accounting, or FP&A.
\n
• Experience with Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS) and/or Profitability and Cost Management (PCM).
\n
• Prior consulting experience at an Oracle implementation partner or systems integrator.
\n
• Additional Oracle Cloud EPM certifications (Planning, FCCS, or related modules).
\n
