Immediate OpeningsBenefits and Perks:Pay: $30-$35/hourOn demand payOvertime pay for hours worked over 40 hoursMedical, dental, and vision health insurance elections401K with a 4% company matchBasic life insurance, long term disability insurance, and AD&D insurance offered at no costVoluntary STD, life, accident coverage, hospital indemnity, and identity theftSupplemental life insurance, short term disability insurance, and accident insurance availableSafety equipment providedWeekly payPay card optionOnline pay stub access24-7 office supportQualifications and Skills:Minimum of 21 years of ageAble to rebuild enginesAble to work nightsMUST HAVE DIESEL ENGINE CERTIFICATIONMUST HAVE OWN TOOLSMinimum of 5 years' experienceMust have a valid driver's license with approvable driving recordMust be able to pass a drug testSpeak, write, read, and understand EnglishJob Duties:Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests to identify worn and damaged parts.Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance, installing component and part upgrades, controlling corrosion, and completing winterization proceduresCorrect vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics, and making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction unitsVerify vehicle performance by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systemsComply with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standardsMaintain vehicle records by annotating services and repairsContain costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts optionsKeep supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receiptEnhance maintenance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishmentsPerform annual DOT inspections
