Job Summary  

W e are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to construct boxes and pack them with products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires teamwork, accuracy, and efficiency to meet production goals. Candidates should be prepared to work on their feet for the entirety of the shift near heavy machinery in a loud warehouse environment, with conditions impacted by seasonal weather.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cons truct boxes and pack products manually or with automated machines.
2. Maintain accurate order picking, packing, and inventory records.
3. Perform frequent quality checks to ensure labels and packaging meet standards.
4. Rotate product codes according to rotation schedules.
5. Fold, close, and stack cartons on pallets for transfer.
6. Maintain a clean and safe work area; follow all safety protocols.
7. Clean and sanitize lines during product changeovers.
8. Assist with line setup during changeovers, including placing stickers, wiping down machines, and making minor adjustments.
9. Push waste totes to compactors, secure them, and return totes to the production floor.
10. Rework products that do not meet quality standards.
11. Review production schedules daily to plan for required box quantities.

Required Qualifications

1. Abili ty to work weekends, holidays, off-shifts, and overtime.
2. Mechanically inclined with at least 1 year of machine operator or warehouse experience preferred.
3. Basic math skills; ability to read and write in English.
4. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
5. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
6. Ability to wear required safety attire (hairnet, safety glasses, bump cap, steel toe b oots).

Preferred Qualifications

1. P rior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
2. Familiarity with allergens such as dairy, wheat, soy, garlic, salt, and oils (e.g., sunflower).
3. Experience working with spicy snack products.

Work Environment

1. Loud manufacturing facility with heavy machinery.
2. Indoor warehouse conditions impacted by seasonal weather.
3. Extended periods of standing and repetitive motion in a clean, safety-focused environmen t.

Education: High School or equivalent
