Sr. Business Systems Analyst

Overview Job Description: Serves as the senior subject matter expert for the Oracle Supply Chain modules (Inventory, Costing, Purchasing, Order Management, and Pricing) and Oracle warehouse management system and is responsible for providing solution development, operational and project support to empower business users and support future upgrades. The Sr Business Systems Analyst leverages deep business process knowledge and functional experience with Supply Chain modules and Oracle warehouse management to drive continuous improvement and process simplification. The Sr Business Systems Analyst partners with key stakeholders to understand business needs and formulate solutions using Oracle application features and industry best practices. Consult with business leaders and daily system users to identify and document functional needs, procedures, and opportunities for improvement. Working with the IT team, define possible solutions to business needs and guide IT and business leaders in choosing the best option and approach. Create and update business process documents as they relate to Sales order processing, Pricing, Shipping, Inventory management, Costing, warehouse management, and SCM processes. Create requirements, functional specifications, unit and integration test scenarios, and other relevant artifacts necessary for the implementation of IT solutions. Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving day-to-day IT issues as they relate to SCM applications and warehouse management. Support core Supply Chain modules, warehouse management as well as custom processes. Troubleshoot, analyze, and identify root issue causes using TOAD/SQL developer queries. Support the business in the development and execution of canned and ad hoc reports. Create or update end-user training documents and guides. Provide hands-on training to end users on various aspects of applications. Coordinate and guide offshore team for faster issue resolution. Resolve product issues by opening, updating, and escalating service tickets with product vendors. Provide production support using Service Now and procedures for tracking, user communication, and service level management. Create and maintain IT project plans. Execute projects and enhancements using appropriate tools and methodologies. Monitor and control project activities per the plan and communicate status to key stakeholders. Responsibilities Serve as a senior SME for Oracle Supply Chain modules and Oracle WMS; provide solution development, operational and project support. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and formulate Oracle-based solutions. Document functional needs, procedures, and opportunities for improvement; guide IT and business leaders in solution selection. Create and update business process documents related to Sales order processing, Pricing, Shipping, Inventory management, Costing, and SCM. Develop requirements, functional specifications, and test artifacts for IT solutions; participate in unit and integration testing. Provide technical assistance for day-to-day IT issues related to SCM applications and warehouse management. Support core SCM modules and warehouse management, including custom processes; troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis. Prepare reports and assist in developing canned and ad hoc reports; train end users on applications. Coordinate offshore team activities to accelerate issue resolution. Manage product issue resolution by opening, updating, and escalating service tickets with vendors. Provide production support via ServiceNow and maintain communication and SLAs with users. Create and maintain IT project plans; execute projects and enhancements using appropriate methodologies. Monitor project activities and report status to stakeholders. Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Systems, Applied Computer Science, or related field. Requires 5 years of progressive, post-Bachelor’s work experience. Must have experience in each of the following areas: Core Oracle Supply Chain products (Order Management, Pricing, Inventory, Costing, SLA, Warehouse management); OUM (Oracle Unified Methodology) and related deliverables; Operational metrics such as OEE and experience implementing IT solutions for those metrics; Oracle Quality; Oracle Process Manufacturing (Inventory, WIP); Oracle Purchasing, Oracle Planning Central/ASCP, Oracle Maintenance, Demand Planning; Oracle EBS, OBIEE, OAC, PL/SQL; configuration/setup/implementation of ORACLE ERP, CLOUD Modules (Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Costing, WMS CLOUD); Supporting and implementing Oracle Warehouse Management and Oracle EBS/Cloud ERP Supply Chain modules; Experience performing at least 2 full lifecycle implementations of Oracle EBS/cloud modules in recent releases.
