Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students in a K-12 school environment as a physical therapist. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while collaborating with fellow professionals, with a set schedule from August 12, 2026, through May 27, 2027. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, dedicating 37.5 hours per week to providing essential services in a welcoming and supportive educational setting near Grand Prairie, TX. The specific caseload will be discussed during the interview to ensure the best fit for your skills and preferences.

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Texas
• Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations (PT – School experience is a plus)
• Familiarity with IEP process and documentation requirements
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, students, and families
• Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques for K-12 students with diverse needs
• Organized and punctual, with reliable time management

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy assessments and interventions for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students’ mobility and participation in school activities
• Document therapy sessions, progress, and required reports according to school protocols
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and equipment
• Engage with parents and caregivers as needed to optimize student outcomes
