Medical Receptionist

Overview We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, patients, employees, and callers. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, answering and routing calls, greeting visitors, maintaining visitor records, and providing administrative support to ensure a positive and efficient experience for everyone interacting with the organization. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service in a professional office environment. Responsibilities Answer and route incoming calls using a multi-line phone system or switchboard Take accurate messages and ensure timely delivery to the appropriate individuals Greet visitors in a courteous and professional manner Determine the purpose of visitors' appointments and direct them appropriately Issue visitor passes/badges and maintain visitor logs Notify employees of visitor arrivals Respond to routine inquiries regarding office locations, hours of operation, contact information, and general services Schedule and coordinate meeting room reservations Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages Prepare outgoing mail and coordinate courier shipments Perform general clerical and administrative support tasks Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area Follow established policies, procedures, and service standards Required Qualifications Less than 2 years of administrative, customer service, receptionist, or related experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Professional telephone etiquette Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn office systems Ability to multitask and manage routine administrative duties Positive attitude and commitment to improving customer experiences Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Previous receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative experience Experience operating a multi-line phone system or switchboard Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications Experience handling mail distribution, scheduling, and general office support activities All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status. #J-18808-Ljbffr HireTalent
