Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Labor and Delivery Specialty: RN Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Labor and Delivery/Perinatal License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation, Advanced Life Support, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: - 3 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service - Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing Description: The facility is a Level IV Client Designation facility. It consists of 26 LDR suites, 6 C-section suites, 14 Women's Emergency Department Rooms, and 51 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms. There are also 14 monitored Ante-partum rooms. This role provides an opportunity to work in an academic teaching service environment. The facility performs over 500+ deliveries per month. There is 24-hour in-house attending OB coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage. Experience in high-risk, fast-paced delivery services is essential. This position is specifically for the Women's Emergency Department. Additional certifications such as the S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification and Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification are preferred. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is also preferred.
