gpac is partnered with an structural and miscellaneous steel fabricator and erector completing projects for a variety of industries utilizing structural steel construction. They are seeking an experienced Steel Estimator to add to their growing team. Qualifications for Steel Estimator:

• Successfully estimated and won projects in the $100k-$5M range
• Experience estimating with Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or Planswift software
• Knowledge of current AISC and PCI codes and standards
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
• Ability to calculate costs and prepare estimates
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities of Steel Estimator:

• Prepare and review estimates for accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate and communicate with team members
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients
• Manage and monitor project budgets and schedules
• Monitor and review changes in project scope
• Ensure all materials, labor and equipment costs are accurately included in estimates
• Prepare accurate material take offs
• Assist in developing and implementing cost-effective strategies

Compensation/Benefits:

• $80,000 - $100,000 base salary (DOE)
