May assist in pre-construction activities.Key ResponsibilitiesEstimating ResponsibilitiesResponsible for conceptual estimating, cost analysis and estimate coordination and consolidationReviews the design scope and develop quantitiesPerforms productivity analysis of estimates, prepare contingency, escalation and reconciliations for estimatesPrepares contingency, escalation and reconciliations for estimatesPerforms comparisons of scope, quantities and cost data between projectsPrepares management presentations and develop the estimate basisUpdates and maintain historical cost dataReviews designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives where appropriateSupports continuous improvement efforts and change management Pre-Construction ActivitiesPerform Scope Review focusing on:Project ObjectivesDeliverablesOverall Project RequirementsPerform Site Investigation analysisAssist the Pre-Construction/Estimating team in developing preliminary Work PackagesDuring the Development of Project Work Packages perform a risk assessment and participate in mitigation strategy discussionsParticipate in Site Logistic conversations and provide input as to what effect this may have on ConstructionMinimum Qualifications8+ years of relevant experience, including some estimating experienceAll applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.Preferred QualificationsBS or MS graduate in Construction Management or related field is preferredField experience a plusProject experience a plusCost control and scheduling exposure is a plusPreferred Skills:Complex estimating principles and practices, with exposure to conceptual estimatingCost analysisMathematical skillsProject design scopesConsulting skillsAnalytical skillsInterpret and understand specifications and contractsMicrosoft Office 365Microsoft CoPilot 365Good verbal and written communication skillsGood presentation and interpersonal communication skillsCalculatorWork Environment/Physical DemandsTypical office environment.
