NetSuite Engineer

Overview Position Title: NetSuite Engineer Manages NetSuite and integrated functions for the company. Responsibilities Directly support our finance and sales systems by designing and implementing high-quality technical solutions for critical business needs Proactively research new NetSuite features and functionalities to provide recommendations for process improvements Document NetSuite initiatives and solutions to promote asynchronous communication across the entire company Partner with Finance, Sales and IT to understand end-user needs and create a roadmap for success Act as the primary point of contact for all development and implementation of customizations for all NetSuite-related matters Troubleshoot process, application, and functional issues with the intention to elevate our systems Act as a subject matter expert on technical aspects, with the ability to translate technical initiatives to non-technical audiences Develop, design and deploy ERP integrations, new customizations through scripting Enforce proper governance of data and drive best practices for advanced business intelligence within NetSuite Other Duties: Other duties as assigned The preceding functions are examples of the work performed by employees assigned to this job classification. Qualifications Skills: Required: At least 2+ years’ experience in ERP/CRM platforms, NetSuite preferred Required: At least 2+ years’ experience administrating/developing technology solutions for NetSuite including scripting, workflows, csv imports, user provisioning and roles definition Has experience with third party integration tools and NetSuite APIs (Celigo, CRM integrations) Experience in large scale software development, scripting, and project management Understand and create business requirements, technical analysis and design, coding, testing, and implementation of customizations within software environment Proven track record working collaboratively with project stakeholders and cross functional teams Desired: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines Agile or Scrum experience a plus Education: Required: BS in Computer Science or related field Desired: Understanding of Web development technologies Certification(s), Licenses: Required: N/A Desired: NetSuite Certification Years of experience in a similar role: Required: 2+ years in Development role Desired: 3+ years in Development role Physical Demands Standing 15 % per day Sitting 65 % per day Walking 15 % per day Stooping 15 % per day Lifting Up to 10 lbs. several times a day transporting laptop, etc. Computer Work 65% per day Telephone Work 20% per day Reading 50% per day Attend meetings – 25% per day The Employer is a Federal Contractor and subject to federal vaccination mandate.
