PRN Occupational Therapist

Role: PRN/Per Diem Occupational Therapist (OT) responsible for providing rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing facility. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and treat geriatric patients with complex medical, cognitive, and functional needs. Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, activities of daily living (ADLs), and independence. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, physicians, speech therapists, and physical therapists for coordinated patient care. Perform adaptive equipment training, fall prevention strategies, and patient/caregiver education. Provide flexible, high-quality care across varying schedules and patient acuity levels. Qualifications & Skills Current license and registration as an OT in the relevant state. Valid malpractice insurance and licensure in good standing. Dedicated to compassionate care with excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handle pressure, and demonstrate patience and enthusiasm. Energetic, committed, and passionate about quality patient outcomes. Additional Information Experience with adaptive equipment, fall prevention, and working with elderly populations preferred. COVID-19 vaccination encouraged but not mandatory.
