$20–$25/hour | Full-Time | In Person

Le Petit Elephant Nursery & Preschool (LPE) is Napa’s premier outdoor-based, Spanish/English bilingual early childhood program. We are seeking a warm, attentive, and dependable Infant/Toddler Teacher who values respectful, relationship-based care and understands the unique needs of young children.

What You'll Do

• Provide responsive, nurturing care for infants (0–17 months) and/or toddlers (18–36 months)
• Follow each child’s individual feeding, sleeping, and developmental rhythms
• Maintain a safe, calm, engaging classroom with active supervision
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and teaching teammates
• Support our RIE-inspired, respectful approach to early childhood care
• Spend time outdoors with children in all safe weather conditions

Qualifications

• 12 ECE/CD units, including Infant/Toddler coursework (or currently enrolled)
• Experience working with infants/toddlers in a licensed childcare setting required
• Knowledge of infant/toddler development and responsive caregiving
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
• Ability to work outdoors daily
