Professional Customer Marketing Coordinator

Coordinate the development, creation, and implementation of various professional customer marketing projects and efforts.

Essential Job Functions

• Implement all professional marketing materials, answering questions and monitor results of programs.
• Coordinate professional customer sale event/flyer creation process
• Work with graphics team to ensure accurate changes are made in a timely manner.
• Work with Pricing and Merchandise Departments to ensure accurate price points are featured on the ad/flyer.
• Work with Inventory Control and Purchasing Departments to ensure adequate stock is supplied to stores and DCs.
• Coordinate and plan all team meetings associated with the event.
• Work with Sales, Merchandise and Marketing teams to create effective publications including- Shop Specials, Quarterly Tool Box, Commodity Flyer and other sales tools as needed.
• Proof all professional ads for accuracy.
• Oversee all communications to various departments for the execution of professional customer sale distribution.
• Maintain project checklist to ensure all steps are completed as needed in the times frames determined for all events.
• Review and work with Merchandise and Sales Departments to ensure all marketing agreements are uploaded to SupplyLine/VFR.
• Recap and distribute internal communications for flyer proofing and Inventory Control planning meetings.
• Assist with special department projects as needed.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required:

• High school diploma.
• Experience with and knowledge of the following software: Excel, Access, and Word.
• Experience in data entry and 10-key.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Must present a professional company image and positive attitude and be comfortable in a team oriented environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Ability to work with multiple departments effectively.
• Must be able to lift packages up to 40 lbs.

Desired:

• Several years of experience as an Assistant Manager or Sales Specialist in a retail based store.
• Knowledge of promotions and sale implementation.
• An understanding of our corporate structure, logistic, purchasing and inventory control systems.
• Marketing or Communications degree.
