Product Solutions Associate - Healthcare Payments
JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Job Description
Strategically drive Health Plan and Provider engagement to expand JPMorgan Healthcare Payments adoption and sales strategies through structured call campaigns, targeted outreach, and internal initiatives—while delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
As a Product Solutions Associate (Inside Sales) in Healthcare Payments, you will help broaden our footprint across the Health Plan and Provider ecosystem by managing multi-touch call campaigns and supporting adoption of electronic payments and electronic remittance advice (ERA) processing through the InstaMed Network. This role is ideal for a candidate with a college degree or equivalent experience who is eager to learn the Health Plan space and build foundational expertise in payer/provider workflows. You will partner closely with internal teams and payer stakeholders, lead outreach via phone, Zoom, and email, guide contacts through enrollment and activation steps, troubleshoot barriers, and maintain accurate tracking of outcomes. Success requires ownership, curiosity, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities at once.
JPMorgan Healthcare Payments supports healthcare organizations of all sizes with an end-to-end suite of solutions built specifically for healthcare. Backed by deep industry expertise and the scale of J.P. Morgan Payments, we connect consumers, providers, payers, and health tech companies across healthcare payment transactions, creating a faster, simpler experience for all. Our solutions are compliant and certified to HIPAA to securely process payments and move healthcare data at scale. Through embedded integration, they streamline operations, reduce friction, and improve the consumer experience.
Job responsibilities
- Execute targeted outbound call campaigns to Providers and Health Plans (and related payer teams) to increase adoption of electronic payments and ERA, using an omnichannel approach (phone, email, Zoom).
- Build and manage campaign plans (target lists, outreach sequencing, talk tracks, follow-up cadence) to drive measurable expansion of our footprint.
- Partner closely with the Payer organization and internal stakeholders to align on campaign goals, targeting strategy, progress updates, and partner satisfaction outcomes.
- Engage Provider and Health Plan stakeholders with a consultative, value-based approach—linking product capabilities to workflow outcomes (speed, accuracy, reduced manual effort).
- Own end-to-end engagement for assigned campaigns: outreach, qualification, education, next-step coordination, and confirmation of successful setup/adoption.
- Develop working knowledge of the Health Plan space (payer operations, disbursement workflows, remittance/ERA, provider enrollment touchpoints) and apply it in external conversations.
- Deliver a consistent, high-trust experience—setting expectations, communicating next steps, and maintaining professionalism in every interaction.
- Maintain accurate activity tracking and documentation (notes, statuses, outcomes) to support visibility, forecasting, and continuous improvement.
- Use data and feedback to refine outreach effectiveness (messaging, sequencing, objection handling) and recommend process enhancements.
Contribute reusable content (FAQs, call scripts, workflows) to strengthen team playbooks and accelerate onboarding for future campaigns.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong phone, email, and Zoom communication skills with the ability to build credibility quickly with operational stakeholders.
- Strong ownership and critical thinking—able to work independently, make sound decisions, and escalate appropriately.
- High attention to detail with a consistent track record of accurate documentation, data entry, and follow-through.
- Comfort working in a metrics-driven environment (activity, reach, conversion, cycle time, adoption/activation outcomes).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to learn new tools, processes, and healthcare payments concepts quickly and apply them confidently in conversations.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across payer, operations, product, and internal partner teams.
Professional judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information and regulated workflows.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Sales development or inside sales experience in healthcare, fintech, SaaS, or payments (or strong transferable selling experience).
- Exposure to Health Plan, provider revenue cycle, claims/remittance, or healthcare IT concepts (ERA/EFT a plus). Use data and feedback to refine outreach effectiveness (messaging, sequencing, objection handling) and recommend process enhancements.
- Experience using CRM and engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms) to track activity and outcomes. Maintain accurate activity tracking and documentation (notes, statuses, outcomes) to support visibility, forecasting, and continuous improvement.
- Experience building or improving call scripts, talk tracks, objection handling, or playbooks. Deliver a consistent, high-trust experience—setting expectations, communicating next steps, and maintaining professionalism in every interaction.
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare and eagerness to develop expertise in Payer/Provider workflows.
- Ability to synthesize campaign results into clear updates and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
- Assist sales teams with related sales functions, including contract support/coordination, presentations, legal coordination, meeting note-taking, and other pre- and post-sales activities as needed .
