Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury Attorney in Plainfield, New Jersey. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong litigation skills, a passion for advocacy, and the ability to manage a complex caseload from intake through resolution. Trial experience is essential.
Duties
- Handle both pre-litigation and litigation cases from inception through trial or settlement.
- Conduct client meetings, case evaluations, and strategy development.
- Draft and file documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses/requests.
- Represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff for efficient case handling.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the New Jersey State Bar Association.
- 4+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience; trial experience preferred.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and case management skills.
Education
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
