The ideal candidate will be motivated by joining a quickly growing organization, and excited to help us improve the care experience for patients and providers. Applicants must be Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certified, licensed to practice, and have experience working with adult and/or child and adolescent populations.Key Responsibilities:Provide psychiatric care, including evaluations, follow-ups, and urgent and emergent consultations to individuals with mental health needsDocument and navigate EHR independentlyMaintain strict client confidentialityParticipate in the creation of an individualized treatment plan after discussing the case with the mental health care team, collecting and reviewing psychosocial data, medical history, nursing assessment, and other pertinent informationEvaluate patients for the need for a higher level of care, including hospitalizationProvide patient education, specifically around issues related to medications and treatment adherence, and aftercare servicesWork closely with Supervising physician to ensure improved patient outcomes and high-quality careDiagnose and treat patients from different backgrounds in a respectful mannerDocument and navigate EHR independently and in a timely mannerWork collaboratively with clinical leadership, billing, and compliance to ensure accurate and appropriate documentationQualifications:Must hold current license/registration to practiceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretionAbility to maintain highly confidential informationWorking Conditions:Standard office environment with occasional travel to client locations.May involve evening or weekend hours to accommodate client schedules.Potential exposure to stressful situations and emergency scenarios.Physical Requirements:Ability to sit for 3-4 hours at a time between patient care and documentation.Fine finger coordination required for typing, pressing objects such as utilizing laptop/mouse for documentation purposesAbility to speak clearly with patients and team members so others can understand.Ability to hear and understand others when speakingAbility to view computer screen monitor, small objects few feet awayAbility to act and move quickly in emergency situations involving patient careEstimated earnings: $140,000.00-$160,000.00
