Quality Engineer

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineer (QE) with expertise in both manual and automation testing, specifically using Cypress. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality and reliability of web applications through robust test planning, execution, and automation. This role involves close collaboration with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in a fast-paced Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications. Perform manual testing for new features, regression, and exploratory testing. Create and manage test plans, test cases, and test data based on product requirements and user stories. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality validation. Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like Jira. Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality. Maintain and enhance the automation framework for scalability and reusability. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation). Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing. Experience in web application testing, including UI, API, and integration testing. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright). Knowledge of REST API testing using tools like Postman or Cypress. Exposure to performance testing and security testing concepts. Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). #J-18808-Ljbffr
