- No workers’ comp experience required; we'll train you on CA law and procedure from day one
- Direct mentorship from firm partners on live cases
- Fast track to running hearings, depositions, and cross-examinations yourself
- Settlement incentive bonus on top of base salary from the start
- Represent clients in hearings, trials, depositions, cross-examinations, and settlement negotiations
- Prepare and file legal documents; review medical/legal records to build cases
- Communicate directly with clients, insurers, and medical providers
- Work alongside case managers and legal assistants who support your caseload administratively
- Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
- Maintain compliance with firm policy, ethical standards, and CA workers’ comp regulations
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active member, California State Bar, in good standing
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Any exposure to CA workers' compensation law (internship, clerkship, etc.) — not required
- Comfort with legal case management software; comfortable in an Apple/Mac environment
- Bilingual English/Spanish
