Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) | San Luis Obispo, CA
Help bring new lives into the world while providing compassionate, expert care to mothers and newborns. We’re seeking an experienced and dedicated Labor & Delivery RN to join a highly skilled healthcare team in beautiful San Luis Obispo, CA.
What You’ll Do:
Provide exceptional nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond effectively to changes in patient condition
Assist with labor management, emergency deliveries, and C-section procedures
Support pain management interventions, including epidural monitoring and alternative comfort measures
Educate patients and families throughout pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum recovery
Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
What You’ll Bring:
Active California RN license required
Minimum of two years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring/AWHONN certification required
Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
