Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) | San Luis Obispo, CA

Help bring new lives into the world while providing compassionate, expert care to mothers and newborns. We’re seeking an experienced and dedicated Labor & Delivery RN to join a highly skilled healthcare team in beautiful San Luis Obispo, CA.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide exceptional nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages

• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond effectively to changes in patient condition

• Assist with labor management, emergency deliveries, and C-section procedures

• Support pain management interventions, including epidural monitoring and alternative comfort measures

• Educate patients and families throughout pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum recovery

• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

What You’ll Bring:

• Active California RN license required

• Minimum of two years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required

• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required

• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring/AWHONN certification required

• Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
