Senior Financial Analys

SIP Manufacturing LLC provides beverage manufacturing and packaging solutions that help brands bring products from concept to commercialization. We’re seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who combines strong financial analysis with a solid accounting foundation to help us understand performance, improve profitability, and make informed business decisions.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will work across finance, accounting, and operations to translate financial and operating data into clear recommendations. Your work will connect what happens on the production floor with what shows up in the financial statements—and help determine what we do next.

This role could be on-site, hybrid, or remote, but preference will go to employees who can commute to either Lake Elsinore, California or Southaven, Mississippi.

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys building models, investigating the drivers behind results, and taking ownership of work from the initial question through the final recommendation.

What you’ll do

• Drive financial planning and forecasting. Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models covering revenue, operating expenses, profitability, and cash flow. Work with department leaders to develop assumptions and identify risks and opportunities.
• Explain business performance. Analyze results against budget, forecast, and prior periods. Identify the underlying drivers of variances and present clear explanations, business implications, and recommended actions to the CFO and leadership team.
• Evaluate manufacturing costs and margins. Analyze materials, packaging, labor, overhead, production efficiency, and yield to identify opportunities to improve cost performance and profitability.
• Support pricing and commercial decisions. Evaluate customer, product, and SKU profitability;
  model pricing scenarios;
  and assess the financial impact of new business opportunities and changes in product mix.
• Connect financial analysis with sound accounting. Partner with accounting during the monthly close to validate results, investigate unusual balances and trends, and distinguish timing differences from underlying business performance.
• Improve cash and working capital visibility. Analyze inventory, receivables, and payables to support cash forecasting and identify opportunities to improve working capital.
• Assess investments and business initiatives. Prepare financial analyses for capital expenditures, capacity decisions, cost savings projects, and other priorities.
• Strengthen reporting and processes. Build useful management reports and dashboards, improve data accuracy, and streamline recurring analysis. Present findings in a format that helps both financial and operational leaders act.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or a combination of these areas.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including the ability to translate complex data into practical business recommendations.
• A solid understanding of accounting principles, accruals, the monthly close process, and how the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement connect.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems and large datasets.
• The ability to reconcile information across sources, challenge assumptions thoughtfully, and produce accurate, well-supported work.
• Clear communication skills, including the ability to explain financial results to colleagues outside finance.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines with appropriate independence.

Preferred qualifications

• MBA, CPA, or CFA.
• Experience in manufacturing, beverage, food, consumer packaged goods, or contract manufacturing.
• Familiarity with cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing, and manufacturing variances.
• Experience with ERP systems, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other reporting and analytics tools.
