Vice President, Clinical Development - Inflammation

Responsibilities
- Lead clinical development strategy across allergic diseases, rheumatology, and B-cell autoimmune conditions
- Oversee development teams and cross-functional matrix groups advancing multiple programs and indications
- Set portfolio priorities, manage development risks, and support governance decisions
- Represent Gilead in external forums with regulatory agencies, academic experts, and alliance partners
- Collaborate with Research, Commercial, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and other functions on portfolio alignment
Requirements
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree required
- 10+ years pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience preferred
- Leadership experience managing clinical development teams and programs
- Expertise in inflammation, immunology, or autoimmune disease development
- Experience with partnered assets and cross-functional collaboration
- Regulatory knowledge spanning pre-IND through Phase 3 development
- Track record of scientific rigor and portfolio strategy execution
