Data Entry Clerk (Temp-to-Hire)
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support our accounting team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting day-to-day operations. This position is ideal for someone with proven data entry experience who thrives in a collaborative, team-first environment where everyone pitches in to get the job done.
Key Responsibilities
- Input financial data into our DOS-based accounting software (Tyler).
- Reconciliations: Support Accounts Receivable, reconcile accounts, and verify check/credit card totals.
- Account Research: Resolve account discrepancies and communicate updates to customers and vendors.
- Spreadsheet & File Management: Update pre-existing Excel workbooks and complete basic filing.
Requirements
- Experience: Strong, proven track record in data entry.
- Excel Skills: Intermediate proficiency (updating existing workbooks).
- Detail-Oriented & Proactive: High accuracy, comfortable asking questions, and self-directed.
Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
