Inventory Accountant

Position Summary A growing consumer products company is seeking an Location Stamford, CT (100% in-office) Compensation $85K Position Summary A growing consumer products company is seeking an Inventory Accountant to support inventory and accounting operations across multiple locations. This position will report to the Controller and play a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, inventory receipts, and invoices Reconcile inventory balances across multiple locations and research discrepancies Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end close activities Maintain general ledger accounts and perform balance sheet reconciliations Support ad hoc reporting and analysis related to inventory and accounting Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting experience preferred Strong Excel skills required Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication skills and ability to work independently #J-18808-Ljbffr
