*Department: Neuro MedSurg Acute | RN
-# Beds: 54 beds (2 semi private)
-Nurse/Patient Ratio: Day shift 1:4-5, Nights 1:5-6
-Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Stroke, spine surgery, seizure, brain tumor, head injury, any neuroscience, some medical overflow

*Required: -IL license -BLS, NIHSS -Level I Trauma -Previous travel (no first time travelers) -Prior dedicated neuro unit experience *Shifts & Scheduling: 4x12's *Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday are considered the weekend both shifts *Holiday Requirement: Every other *Floating Requirements: Float in rotation with rest of staff. General unit traveler floats to general unit floor - takes full team. If floated outside of general unit, in case of urgent need, would only do skills competent to do & be assigned with a nurse trained for that particular unit *Scrub Color/Dress Code: No scrub color requirement, tattoos covered while on duty, no piercings besides ears
