Job Summary The Office Leader is responsible for overseeing all administrative and operational aspects of the dental practice. This role requires strong leadership, sales ability, organizational, and financial management skills. He/She will play a critical role in ensuring the office runs efficiently, optimizing patient experience, and achieving practice goals. Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales: help patients understand the value of good oral health and recommended dental services; ensure a positive experience and safe environment; address concerns or complaints and implement strategies for satisfaction and retention; monitor patient feedback and implement improvements. Financial Management: manage the practice's P&L, ensuring targets met; develop & monitor office budget, track expenses, analyze reports; oversee patient AR, collections, accurate billing; implement & maintain financial controls; conduct regular reviews with dentist(s) and management. Operational Management: ensure efficient daily operations (scheduling, check‑in/check‑out, phone management); implement & maintain office policies and procedures; manage inventory & supplies; maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA compliance; coordinate with staff to optimize workflow. Team Leadership & Supervision: supervise & support staff, hiring, training, performance management; foster a positive collaborative environment; conduct staff meetings and provide coaching; handle employee relations and resolve conflicts. Business Development: identify opportunities to grow practice and revenue; develop & implement marketing & outreach strategies; analyze market trends and competitor activities.
