Senior Accountant

Senior AccountantAs the Senior Accountant, you will report directly to the Accounting Manager and be responsible for all accounting activities and financial reporting to support operations and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Responsibilities:Prepare Financial reports and maintain the general ledgerFinancial Review of assigned facilitiesReconcile all assigned bank accountsReport variances and corrections as neededAssist with audit preparations and prepare documentation for internal and external auditors.Perform account reconciliations for assigned accountsIntercompany transactions.Fixed Asset analysis as needed.Recommend ways for process improvement.Cross-train within the team to learn or teach processes and improvements.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in accountingThe qualified candidate would be a self-starter, team player and possess an Accounting / Finance background.5-10 years of experience in a Healthcare setting (Preferred)Strong analytical ability, good judgment, strategic and multidimensional thinkerStrong attention to detail and organized with the ability to meet strict deadlines.Demonstrate professional behavior, punctual, dependable, and adhere to company policies and procedures.Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experienceMedical, Dental, Vision plans; zero-premium plans available for employee-onlyHSA, FSA, and Dependent Care Account401K with company matchEmployee Assistance ProgramVoluntary plans such as Critical Illness and LifeEmployee Stock Purchase ProgramCompany paid STD, LTD, Life InsurancePTO, Paid holidaysWork Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
