Job Summary

The HR Business Partner will partner closely with the HR Director and site leadership to develop and implement HR solutions to meet business needs in areas such as organization and workforce effectiveness, talent and leadership development and employee engagement. This individual will also contribute to HR strategy and policy, manage HR programs to enable the company to attract, develop and retain high-caliber employees, and serve as an internal partner to line managers on HR issues, in alignment with the Americas HR Services team as appropriate.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner with designated Leaders to develop HR initiatives to support business strategy and growth framework.
• Drive and implement HR policy and HR programs, initiatives, and solutions.
• Create plans and implement change management strategies that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.
• Analyze available data to identify trends, create a strategy and proactively work with management and employees to strengthen relationships, improve collaboration, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
• Identify leadership development opportunities and stretch assignments, address capability gaps, coach, and provide insight and guidance to strengthen key talent/pipeline/succession.
• Operate with a preventative approach and escalate identified employee relations to COE in areas such as performance management, disciplinary investigations and procedures. Counsel and partner with COE to address and bring resolution to employee/labor relations issues including but not limited to investigations, complaints, concerns, terminations etc.
• Be a pro-active Business Partner for Employee Engagement, ensuring good site participation in annual surveys, analyzing and producing relevant data for management and identifying actions to address areas of improvement and concern including holding "Round Tables" with groups of employees to maintain and improve Employee Engagement.
• Encourage the use of Nordson University programs and training across the site, facilitating and conducting face to face training for production workers and others where necessary.
• Be an advocate for NBS Next and assist the leadership team in communication and training where necessary, specifically in relation to Organizational Agility
• Proactively identify and recommend improvements on processes, procedures and system functionality as part of efforts on CI.
• Ensure compliance with all government regulations (EEO, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, including Affirmative Action etc.) working with the COE's where appropriate and including compliance with Federal and State employment laws and internal processes).
• Forward thinking, proactively identify actions to address future business challenges and opportunities.
• Analyze data and metrics, identify trends to develop solutions, programs and policies utilizing tools such as Power BI, Workday etc.
• Partner with the Americas HR Services group to ensure provision of high-quality HR services to the local employee population.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

Education:

• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• Typically, a minimum of 5 years of progressive professional level human resources experience.

• Familiarity with HRIS functions particularly Workday.

Salary range for this position is: $96,000 to $145,000 annually. The base pay range for this job level is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, business considerations, and local market conditions, as well as candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, and skills
