Unleash your potential and join BrightPath!What will you be doing?As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee the company financial operations and ensure accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial management. This position is critical to the delivery of financial information on a timely basis. Responsibilities include:Reconciling accounts and preparing financial statementsEnsuring accuracy in financial reporting to provide reliable information to stakeholders.Overseeing month-end and year-end closing processes including preparation of financial statements, audit support and reconciling accounts.Collaborating with third-party service providers to enhance existing financial systems and implement improvements.Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations (IFRS)Leading and mentoring accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Managing grants, subsidies and accounting related to government funding programs.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related fieldCPA designation preferred5+ years of experience working in an accounting or finance roleStrong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, IFRS experience an assetExperience in practice accountingExcellent communication and leadership skillsIf this sounds like a good fit, we want to meet you!
