Design Engineer

Design Engineer Job Summary Researches and develops ideas for new products and systems. Responsibilities Uses mathematical modelling to determine cost‑effectiveness of new developments. Creates technical plans for prototypes using CAD (SolidWorks) based on research ideas. Collects and analyzes data from prototype tests. Modifies designs and re‑tests to ensure product readiness for manufacture or installation. Writes or presents regular progress reports for project managers and clients. The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering product design, industrial design, computer‑aided design engineering, engineering design and manufacture, or materials science. Experience: 3-8 years of related experience.
