Packaging Engineer
Location: Covington, TN | Onsite
We are seeking a Packaging Engineer with mechanical engineering experience supporting automated packaging equipment and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
-
Evaluate and support packaging equipment from filling through secondary and end-of-line packaging.

Develop and modify packaging line layouts using AutoCAD .
-
Support equipment installation, integration, modifications, and product changeovers.
-
Coordinate with equipment vendors on technical specifications and implementation.

Coordinate 3D equipment models within the overall plant design environment.
-
Support packaging line optimization, equipment placement, and utility planning.
-
Provide engineering support for manufacturing and packaging process improvements.
Required Qualifications
-
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
-
5+ years of relevant mechanical or packaging engineering experience.
-
Experience with automated packaging machinery in a manufacturing environment.
-
Proficiency with AutoCAD and packaging/plant layouts.
-
Experience with equipment integration and vendor coordination.
Preferred Experience
-
Food & beverage, dairy, ice cream, CPG, or food processing manufacturing.
-
Fillers, conveyors, cartoners, case packers, wrappers, or palletizers.
-
End-of-line packaging systems.
-
3D plant layout/model coordination.
-
Hygienic or clean-process manufacturing.
