Location : Covington, Tennessee

Job Summary

• Support packaging machinery and automated packaging systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Evaluate packaging equipment performance from filling through secondary packaging operations.
• Lead packaging process improvements, equipment modifications, and production line optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support equipment integration and plant layout activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, troubleshoot, and optimize packaging equipment and End-of-Line (EOL) systems, including palletizers.
• Develop technical specifications for equipment upgrades, modifications, and product changeovers.
• Create and update packaging line layouts using AutoCAD and support 3D model coordination activities.
• Collaborate with equipment vendors, engineering teams, and operations to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5 10+ years of experience with packaging machinery in manufacturing environments.
• Experience in Food & Beverage, CPG, Dairy, Ice Cream, or hygienic processing industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of packaging equipment, plant layouts, and equipment integration projects.
