Come Join an exciting swim school as our Lead Swim Instructor!

Responsibilities would include:

• Engagement with children/swimmers while smiling, singing, and having fun while teaching lessons

• Learning and teaching swimming techniques with an emphasis on survival skills

• Using your training to mentor/guide new swim instructors that join our program

• Ensure proper safety protocols and swim techniques are being followed to British Swim School brand standards

• Work directly with the Aquatics Leaders to plan/conduct monthly in-service meetings and on-going training for the instructor team

• Speaking to parents/customers about their childrens progress

This position is a part-time position with an emphasis on teaching swim classes. You will be in water for the majority of your shift.

Requirements:

• Current lifeguard certification required. If you are not currently certified, you must be willing to become certified before starting this position.

• Outgoing, contagious personality

• Experience with swimming all 4 swim strokes and an understanding of proper technique and mechanics

• Willing to learn and able to follow franchise brand standards and guidelines

• We swim year round and are looking for someone that wants to join and lead a growing team. This is not a seasonal position. Priority will be given to candidates looking for a longer term opportunity .

Hours will include weekdays and weekends, late afternoons and early evenings. The primary shifts needed will be Tuesday and Thursday 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm , Saturday 9:45 am - 3:00 pm, Sunday 8:30 am - 2:00 pm, weekly zoom meetings with leadership team outside of these hours. Weekend availability required.

The primary shifts needed will be Monday. and Wednesday. 3:00 pm - 8:30 pm , Saturday 9:45 am - 3:00 pm, Sunday 8:30 am - 2:00 pm, weekly zoom meetings with leadership team outside of these hours. Weekend availability required.
