Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM Thu 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM Fri 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM Sat 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM Sun 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, technology, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or unauthorized access attempts. Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor access, and support badge, credential, and/or delivery processes in line with site protocols for a technology‑focused location. Support access control, after‑hours checks, and incident reporting while maintaining a professional presence that helps deter disruptions and/or policy violations. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience. Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
