Manager, Warehouse

Whether your work includes strategic inventory planning, labeling, warehouse management, material handling, or any of our other supply chain opportunities, you will be making a meaningful contribution to our team and to patients all over the world.The Warehouse Manager will lead all raw material warehouse operations for the Draper site, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant receipt, storage, movement, and distribution of materials that support manufacturing. This role provides leadership to warehouse supervisors and leads while driving operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and a strong culture of safety across a large team supporting product supply, sterilization preparation, and general store operations.How you'll make an impact:Manage and/or lead a small teamDetermine direct labor headcount to align with strategy planPartner with team members in other sites on forecasting requirementsPartner with other business groups to align on long term process improvementsDetermine 3-year improvement plans for assigned function in partnership with cross-functional team members (e.g., Finance, Planning)Forecast budgeting spend and hoursDevelop team members to increase business acumen and functional skills including driving culture changes and providing knowledge transfer team membersPlan and direct assigned operational and project activities with the accountability for successful completion of assigned deliverables.Manage Lean project activities (e.g., BEx initiatives, Engineering, GTO and plant projects).Manage Quality elements for Training/AuditsLead ramp up efforts for product transfers to network plants.Lead EHS ElementsIdentify opportunities and lead the implementation of changes to drive process improvements including removing roadblocks as appropriateGather/review data points for improvements into Key Metrics (e.g., Safety, Quality, Service, Cost)Drive completion ownership from key leadersPartner to determine ROI and Project PrioritiesProvide technical expertise on CALOSHA audits and ensure accountability of supervisors to plan (Builds – LIFR, Yields, Productivity, Safety, Compliance, Culture)Other incidental dutiesWhat you'll need (Required):Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field with related experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteriaWhat else we look for (Preferred):8 years of experienceLean Six Sigma Belt CertificationExperience in a highly regulated industry, medical device industry preferredProven successful project management leadership skillsProven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systemsExcellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision makingExcellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectivesExtensive understanding of assigned function operations and manufacturing procedures while defining team operating standards and ensuring essential procedures are followed based on knowledge of own disciplineKnowledge of financial mechanism that relates to assigned functions operationsDemonstrated skill set to manage assigned team and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relationsAbility to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of tissue operations to the businessStrict attention to detailAbility to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organizationAbility to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environmentAdhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/controlEdwards is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer including protected Veterans and individuals with disabilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
