Our client is a leading full-service law firm with a sophisticated Labor & Employment practice. The firm advises businesses and organizations on complex employment matters, litigation, workplace policies, labor relations, and transactional issues.

The team provides strategic legal counsel to clients across a range of industries and offers attorneys the opportunity to work on challenging matters in a collaborative and client-focused environment.

We are seeking a highly qualified Labor & Employment Associate to join the firm's dynamic and sophisticated practice. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in employment litigation and counseling, excellent academic credentials, and strong legal writing and communication skills.

• Represent clients in labor and employment litigation matters.
• Handle wage and hour, discrimination, and non-compete matters.
• Provide employment and HR-related counseling to clients.
• Draft and review employment policies, agreements, and related documents.
• Conduct workplace investigations and employee training.
• Support transactional matters and employment-related due diligence.
• Advise clients on labor and employment compliance and risk management.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys, clients, and other professionals.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda, pleadings, and other documents.
• Manage multiple matters while meeting deadlines and client expectations.

Experience in the following areas is a plus:

• Collective bargaining
• Union organizing campaigns
• Unfair labor practices
• NLRB arbitrations
• Executive compensation
• Labor relations

• 4+ years of labor and employment law experience.
• Experience with labor and employment litigation.
• Experience with wage and hour, discrimination, and non-compete matters.
• Employment and HR counseling experience.
• Experience drafting employment policies and agreements.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and training.
• Experience with transactional and due diligence matters.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing required.
• Excellent academic record.
• Strong analytical, legal writing, and oral communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
