Job Details

We are seeking Construction General Laborers to support a growing civil contractor specializing in underground pipelaying and site preparation for new construction projects. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering consistent work across Central Pennsylvania. This job opportunity also has 5 current openings, offering weekly paychecks, insurance/benefits, and OT.

1.5x on Saturday, 2x pay on Sunday if working

Responsibilities

• Assist crews with underground utility installation, including pipe laying, trenching, and grading support.

• Perform general site preparation for commercial and civil construction projects.

• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.

• Support operators and skilled trades on active job sites.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Follow all company and OSHA safety protocols.

MUST HAVES

• Minimum 1+ year of construction labor experience, preferably in civil/site work.

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, such as digging trenches and breaking large stones.

• Reliable transportation to and from work, either to the shop in York, PA, or directly to job sites based on location.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.
