Patient Access Liaison - TEPEZZA - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Patient Access Liaison supporting patients and healthcare providers in navigating insurance coverage, prior authorization, and reimbursement for Amgen therapies. This field-based role addresses access barriers and educates stakeholders on financial assistance programs and coverage pathways.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and providers navigating insurance benefits and prior authorization requirements
• Identify and resolve access barriers including coverage denials and claim issues
• Educate physicians, infusion centers, and patients on therapy coverage and reimbursement pathways
• Develop relationships with patients and caregivers through phone, virtual, and in-person engagement
• Collaborate with internal teams including Market Access and Case Management on access initiatives

Requirements

• Doctorate degree, or Master's degree with 2+ years patient services/access experience
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years patient services/access experience, or equivalent
• Knowledge of insurance benefits, prior authorization, and reimbursement processes
• Experience with infused or specialty pharmaceutical therapies preferred
• Clinical background such as nursing or allied health preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• HIPAA compliance and regulatory adherence
