Medical Technologist

Role: Lab Technician responsible for performing high-complexity molecular diagnostic testing, including real-time PCR, to deliver accurate and timely results that support patient care. Key Responsibilities Conduct CLIA high-complexity, real-time PCR and other laboratory procedures in compliance with regulatory standards. Collect, prepare, process, and analyze patient specimens accurately. Document results in electronic medical records and perform quality control, calibration, and maintenance of lab equipment. Ensure compliance with CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards. Manage laboratory inventory, troubleshoot testing or equipment issues, and maintain a clean, organized, safe environment. Collaborate with clinical staff to support efficient operations and patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Certified medical laboratory technician or Bachelor's in clinical or medical laboratory science, compliant with CLIA. At least 2 years of clinical laboratory experience; 5+ years preferred, especially with high-volume or urgent care settings. Proficiency in real-time PCR and molecular diagnostic techniques. Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
