The Career:

What You Will do:
- Inspect purchased and manufactured products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to detect defects or deviations.
- Use precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
- Review engineering drawings and work instructions to ensure accurate inspection and documentation.
- Report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
- Support the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.
- Stay current on industry best practices and expand quality control knowledge.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Other duties as beneficial to the success of QA1
The Critical Skills and Experience You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year in similar capacity; with desire to expand skills in this area
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and prints
- Prior experience in inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, scales, etc.) with desire to expand skills in this area
- Ability to independently use a variety of inspection tools (i.e. micrometers, calipers, scales, tape measure, indicators)
- Demonstrable technical proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Person people want to work with
- Excellent time management
- Demonstrated advanced math, reading and English communication skills.
- Comfortable with team interaction or alone under busy conditions with minimal supervision
- Must be available and open to the idea of cross training + learning
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including extended standing 8-10 hours a day with occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 60 lbs.
- Must be able to effectively work in an environment requiring repetitive job responsibilities
- Demonstrable strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office products and capable of quickly training and becoming proficient with ERP system (Syteline)
- Ability to work with a diverse team
