Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Sports Transactional Attorney for its Boston office. The role involves handling commercial transactions in the sports and entertainment industries, with opportunities to work in related fields such as real estate, intellectual property, and corporate law. Duties Negotiate and draft sponsorship and naming rights agreements. Manage multi-media and procurement agreements. Handle franchise acquisition and disposition agreements. Oversee venue development and operations agreements. Coordinate advertising, promotional, and ticketing agreements. Facilitate joint venture and media rights agreements. Requirements Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in sports-related transactions. Substantial direct law firm experience preferred. Membership in good standing with the state bar where located. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Active bar membership in the relevant state. Skills Strong negotiation and drafting skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Effective team collaboration skills. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
