A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide essential services to two students in grades 5 and 6. This is a part-time position, lasting through May 2026, and offers the chance to work closely with a dynamic education team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold a valid Georgia OT license and GaPSC certification (both are required)
• Previous experience within a school or educational setting is preferred
• Experience working with students with disabilities is highly valued
• Ability to provide onsite, in-person services (remote work is not an option)
• All required clearance documentation must be completed prior to start

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services, 30 minutes weekly for each student, per IEP requirements
• Assess and address needs in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and participation in the classroom
• Collaborate with teachers, special education professionals, and school support staff
• Recommend accommodations and modifications to promote student engagement and independence
• Monitor student progress, maintain detailed documentation, and participate actively in team meetings
• Ensure all services comply with legal and educational standards
