Step into a part-time opportunity working with 5th and 6th grade students, making a meaningful impact on their educational journey. This long-term contract role centers on providing specialized occupational therapy services to a focused caseload of two students, ensuring individualized support and progress in a supportive school environment.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services onsite, offering 30 minutes a week per student, aligned with IEP requirements
• Evaluate and address each student’s fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities to enhance classroom participation
• Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and school-based teams to create tailored accommodations and classroom strategies
• Document student progress and interventions, maintaining thorough records in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and ongoing student needs
• Uphold all compliance measures to fulfill the requirements of IEPs and state regulations

Successful candidates must demonstrate:

• Valid Georgia Occupational Therapist license and GaPSC certification (both required)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Background in working with students with disabilities preferred
• Ability to clear all required background checks and submit clearance documentation
• Commitment to providing all services onsite, with strong communication and collaboration skills

This flexible, part-time assignment extends through the end of the 2025-26 school year, offering a chance to work closely with students and educators.
