Key Responsibilities for the Plant Accountant: Maintain product costing, standard costs, and activity-based cost models. Analyze labor, production, and operational costs to identify trends and opportunities. Perform inventory reconciliations and support inventory valuation processes. Prepare month-end journal entries, accruals, allocations, and account analyses. Conduct variance analysis and communicate findings to management. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities. Qualifications for the Plant Accountant: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of accounting experience with exposure to cost accounting. Experience in manufacturing, food production, agriculture, or similar operational environments preferred. Strong knowledge of inventory, job costing, and financial analysis. ERP system experience required; JD Edwards experience is a plus. Understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
