Fire Pump Technician

Fire Pump TechnicianLocation: Pasadena, TXDuration: Full-timeHourly: $22-28/hrDay-to-Day:Primary: Perform fire pump testing and inspections per pre-set customer schedules.Secondary: Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and minor repairs on fire pump engines/drivers, small motors, and water pumps.Escalation: Major overhauls (e.g., replacing full pump assemblies or pump controllers) are handed off to internal mechanics or outsourced to third-party vendors.Must-Haves:Petrochemical / Industrial Experience: Strictly required. Pass on candidates with only commercial background.Mechanical Competency: Must be physically fit for duty and comfortable working inside industrial pump houses.Travel Willingness: Full schedule flexibility for 35% regional out-of-town travel.Education & Experience: High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years of field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, or refinery environments.This is a direct hire opportunity. The selected candidate will be employed directly by our client. All compensation and benefits, including but not limited to medical insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other perks, will be provided by the client in accordance with their internal policies and subject to applicable laws and eligibility requirements.
