Big Data Engineer
We are looking for a Big Data Engineer with Java/AWS experience. This is a hybrid role based in Plano, TX. The position is a W2 contract only.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, with a combination of Python and AWS experience. The role emphasizes Java skills, with experience in Spark, EMR, and Glue. Experience with Snowflake is a plus. The team is building a new platform for credit card data, and this is a great opportunity for someone looking to make a significant impact.
Must haves include very strong Java skills, experience working with large data sets, ETL, or high-volume data collection applications. Experience with Spring Boot, Spark, large scale data processing on AWS (S3, EMR, Glue), and RDBMS (SQL) is required. Nice to have includes Python/PySpark, data lake experience, credit card application development experience, Snowflake, Terraform, GraphQL.
